Up in the northern corner of the Golden State lies a hidden gem the old Pony Express riders once dubbed the “Lost Sierra.” Sandwiched between the rugged granite wall of the Sierra Nevada to the south and the volcanic cones of the Cascades to the north, this region earned its name thanks to being off the beaten path — literally. While it was once skipped over by major routes, that isolation is now its secret sauce. Fast forward to today, and it’s shaping up to be one of the next big mountain bike destinations.
Leading the charge? The Mountains to Meadows Endurofest — a full-throttle celebration of what makes the Lost Sierra so dang special.

The Lost Sierra spans across two counties and over a million acres of wild, untamed beauty. In Plumas County alone, nearly 70% of the land is managed by the U.S. Forest Service — so with that much terrain, where do you even start?
When it comes to mountain biking, Mt Hough is quickly becoming the next playground for all things dirt. Sitting just above the chill mountain town of Quincy, this zone is blowing up thanks to 38 miles of freshly built singletrack — bringing the total trail count to around 70 miles. The crown jewel? A 17-mile shuttle descent that drops a whopping 4,000 vertical feet. Yeah, it’s that good.
With terrain this epic, it’s no wonder Mountains to Meadows Endurofest chose Mt Hough as its home base. Steep, flowy, raw — this place is made for enduro.
What is Mountains to Meadows Endurofest?

At its core, this is a celebration of everything we love about mountain biking — two-wheeled stoke, local flavor, and gravity-fed good times. It’s that kind of grassroots event that reminds you why you were drawn to pedaling in the first place.
Mark your calendars: it all goes down September 12th–14th, with two big events anchoring the weekend. Saturday brings the legendary Grinduro, blending gravel grind with enduro-style racing. And on Sunday, it’s time to let it rip at the Mt Hough Enduro, where the descents are long, fast, and unforgettable.
Dylan is Racing!
This year, we’re extra fired up because Dylan will be throwing his hat (or helmet) and racing the Mt Hough enduro! If you’ve ever seen him ride, you know he brings the perfect mix of finesse and firepower. Dylan’s not just racing — he’s also been tapped as an ambassador for the event. Pretty rad, right?
Come by and Say Hi!
And that’s not all — we’ll also be on-site as a vendor! Whether you’re curious about our mountain bike coaching programs, want to talk gear, or just geek out on line choices, swing by the booth. While Dylan won’t be hosting a clinic at the fest (he’ll be busy railing turns), the ASM crew will be around to connect and answer any questions.
So grab your bike, rally your crew, and get ready to celebrate all things dirt at the Mountains to Meadows Endurofest. Trails, tacos, vendors, and community — this is what mountain biking is all about.
See you in the dirt!
